Good to know before you quote

For Saudi Arabia, most regulated goods need SABER certification before arrival. GCC import duty is typically 5% of CIF value; VAT differs by country (Saudi 15%, UAE 5%). These figures are indicative — your provider will confirm the exact landed cost.

Quote FAQ

How does the quote request work?

Fill in the form with your origin, destination, cargo, weight, volume, incoterm and preferred method. Your request is emailed to the WorldFreightHub team, who route it to a provider on the China–GCC corridor. There is no obligation and no fee to request a quote.

Is my information shared with third parties?

Only the details needed to produce a quote are shared with a provider relevant to your lane, and only after you submit the form. We do not sell or publish your contact details.

What does DDP vs DAP vs FOB mean?

DDP means the seller (shipper) covers duties, taxes and final delivery; DAP covers delivery to the named place but not import clearance; FOB means the buyer takes responsibility once goods are loaded at origin. Choose DDP for a door-to-door, tax-inclusive landed cost.

Do I need a SABER certificate for Saudi Arabia?

For most regulated consumer and industrial goods, yes — SABER certification (with a SABER Certificate of Conformity) is required before goods arrive in Saudi Arabia. The provider can advise whether your product class needs it.

What information should I prepare for an accurate quote?

Product name and HS code, carton count and dimensions, gross weight, cargo value (for insurance and duty), pickup city in China, and the final delivery address. The more precise the volume and weight, the more accurate the rate.

Can I get a quote over WhatsApp instead?

Yes. If you prefer, email martin@dinweys.com with the same details and we will route your request. We route requests to providers who typically respond by email or WhatsApp.

How fast will I receive a quote?

Response time depends on the provider and the completeness of your details, but most quote requests on this corridor are answered within 1–2 business days.
